What is Hijama Cupping Therapy?
HCT is a Holistic Detox and Cell Cleansing Procedure. It uses single use cups, negative pressure and sterile one time use surgical blades to make shallow incisions on the skin surface and draw out toxic blood from the capillaries.
Historicaly, Cupping Therapy is a therapeutic treatment practiced for thousands of years by nations from Europe, Africa, Russia, Middle East, Asia and America and predominated by The Chinese.
Hijama Cupping therapy was established over 1400 years ago, during the advent of Islam in Arabia. The practice of Hijama was introduced and became an extension of general Chinese cupping as completely separata therapy. It is a whole treatment in its own rights as it is based on religion and faith. “Al-Hijama” comes from “Al- Hajm” which means “the sucking”.
The Sunnah of Hijama Therapy
The Prophet ﷺ was informed about importance of Hijama by The Angel on his Night Journey.
“Jibreel has informed me that Hijama Cupping is the most usefull medication for People.” [ Sahih ul- Jami]
“I did not pass by an angel from the angels on the Night Journey except that they all said to me, ‘upon you is Hijama Cupping , o Mohammed’”. [Sahih Sunnan Ibn Maajah ]
The Prophet ﷺ said: “If there is something excellent to be used as a roemedy, then it is Hijama Cupping”. [Saheeh Sunan Ibn Maajah]
It was narrated that The Prophet ﷺ used to have Hijama done on the veins on the side of the neck and the upper back. [Al Tirmidhi]
Ibn Al-Qayyim (RA) mentioned that The Messenger ﷺ was cupped on his head when he was afflicted with magic and it is from the best of cures if performed correctely. [Zaad Al Ma’aad].
Hijama is holistic and deals with seen and unseen realms. It heals body, mind and soul by the permission of Allah. The treatment of “Al-Hijama” is direct order from Allah through his Angels to Prophet Mohamed ﷺ. It is Sunnah to have Hijana done and act of worship to perform Hijama.
Methodology
Treatment best to be performed on empty stomach.
Step 1
A cup is placed on the skin, then the air inside the cup is suctioned out.
Step 2
Disinfecting the cupped place .
Step 3
Small, shallow incisions are made on the surface of the skin.
Step 4
A cup with suction is placed again and toxic blood is being drained out.
Amount of bleeding depends on many factors and no bleeding at all can accur as well.
Step 5
Cleaning
Step 6
Step 4 and 5 are repeated till bleeding stops
Step 7
Sealing with olive or coconut oil.
Step 8
Best after treatment meal are dates and honey water.

- 3 Body Areas ( back+legs+head) - $120, time: 1.5-2.5 h
- Full Body (from feet to top of the head) $150 , time: 2-3 h
